Hair Trauma Update

Here is a little update to my previous post....

Thanks to good friend who introduced me to her JCPenney stylist, my hair is much better. Very short, still very black, still was some frizz, but all in all better than the poodle thing.

Though I have to say, when I went back to the lady who did my hair, she wouldn't even acknowledge my presence until he other client had left. Only then did she say, "Oh honey, look at your hair....Want some shampoo?"

Guess I won't be going back to her.

Hair Trauma 101

I have just had a crash course in Hair Trauma 101.

Through the years, I have been a red head, blonde, brunette, with short hair, long hair, funky hair, spiked and probably about everything else. Never have I been upset, because my feelings have always been, "it's hair, it will grow back."

Well I have experienced my first hair trauma soon followed by mental breakdown.

I had really searched for the style I had wanted. Something simple. The color was supposed to be a rich brown, kind of like a chocolate bar, with caramel highlights (I think I was hungry while thinking about this.) I even found the picture of the style from a magazine so it would be easy for the stylist to achieve.

When she was done, she turned me around to the mirror and the picture to the left is what I looked like.

I am devastated!!!
Mortified!
Embarrassed!
Humiliated!
Furious (who would spend $140 for this?)

Even Joshy looked at me and cried when I got home. Shawn, he knows better not to say anything. And Tyler, you ask? He is the sweet one, who says, "Mommy, you're still beautiful, but I want your hair back brown again."

I am working on trying to fix it, but if anyone has the answers please respond, for I am in need of some serious hair advice.
