Today Tyler has to be at the dentist to have an abscessed tooth removed. His baby tooth broke off and the dentist told us that "it would hold." Apparently, it did not.
Thanks to God, Tyler never felt any pain with this tooth. He just tasted something funny in his mouth. When I looked in his mouth to see what it was, there was this monstrous like growth. After a week of antibiotics, today is the big day....though Tyler is unaware - just knows he has to go to the dentist. That way his anxiety isn't flared up by the anticipation.
On the other hand, my anxiety is flared wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy up. In fact, I am not even going to the dentist. The thought of him being gassed up, out of his head, having a tooth pulled from his mouth, is just too much for me to handle. I mean, c'mon, his tooth isn't even loose!!! I don't handle it very well when his loose tooth falls out. Just grosses me out.
So, needless to say, Shawn will be going to the dentist, with a detailed list of questions to ask, of course, and I will be waiting at home for Tyler, where I can baby the little bugger.
